Riot @ Tautoro School

  Camp 2020 On monday we arrived at school and had to put our gear beside the waka hoe sign. Later on after the bell rang we finally finished packing our gear and left (AFTER LIKE 30MINUTES) Then it took like 3 and a half hours to get to Tapotupotu bay don't worry i know what your thinking thats 4 hours of your day wasted!!!!!! Crazy right but anyways lets keep going.Once we actually got to tapotupotu bay we had a nice short talk about safety and expectations then we went off to set up our tents which was boring but worth it.When we finished putting up the tents we went down to the estuary which was fun walking on the beach and we also went for a quick swim.That night (Monday night)We got warm and we were supposed to be going floundering but some of us were playing tackle on the beach girls vs boys,it was fun but then we got bored because us girls kept winning and we felt sorry for the boys because most of them were getting their body pulled apart haha.We finished our night with a ...

  Bridge to terabithia (part 3) PART 3 - Bully's get bullied With Jess and Leslie living their own fantasy with their imagination, Janice Avery a year 8 bully is pranked by Jess and Leslie and the next day she came to school and cries in the girls bathroom. When Leslie went to go into the girls bathroom she got yelled at from Janice Avery and Leslie went to confront Jess about the situation,Jess suggested that Leslie goes in and talks to Janice so she did and found out that she has been getting bullied and hit from her dad so she makes it harder for others cause its hard for her.  Bridge to terabithia WALT Write a summary 60 words and shorter PART 2-The kingdom's rulers After Jess and Leslie became friends they started to build their own kingdom named terabithia so they could have their own place to stay because of what happens at school when they got bullied and how they dont fit in well.They started to use their imagination more and named their kingdom Terabithia and named themselves the king and queen along with a dog/troll hunter named Prince Terrian.

 Summary Bridge to terabithia by katherine paterson WALT:Summarize in less than 50 words PART 1-The bullied kids   Leslie and Jess become friends because they get bullied at school. Jess gets bullied because he is poor and lives on a farm and his parents couldnt afford a $5 pair of shoes for Jess's race so he had to wear hand-down shoes and Leslie gets bullied because she has a different fantasy from others at school and because she imagines where she is and she doesnt just look at reality and write.  My reflection on my geometry. I like geometry because i like drawing and we had to draw  3D shapes using isometric paper for the first task and for the second we just used our maths books to draw room 5 and 6 without many details and with all the 3D I liked that we had fun and we worked hard with Miss Simeon and we got to draw and also i liked learning more about what geometry is. I think i need to improve on my drawing skills and i need to know how to understand alot more and learn alot more about geometry. With isometric paper it was easier but i feel more comfortable using blank paper because  

 

 

 

                                                I find maths whizz cool. This week I focused on pencil and paper addition.  I like it because you can get money when you complete tasks.  This helps you buy things for your house and you can buy pets but if you dont feed them they get rehomed.  Heres the link if teachers want to visit maths whizz
